29 Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot.

૨૪ તાહાર આતભાએ પીલપને કહું કે તું પાશે જા ને એ રથને

ભલ

30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

૩૦ તે પર પ્રીલયે પાશે દેાડીને તેણેને ઇશાઈઆ ભવીશ કેહેનારનું વાંચતો શાંભલા ને કહું કે તું જે વાંચેછું તે નજધે ખરા

31 And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him.

૩૧ તાહારે તેણે કહું કે શું મને કોઈએ બતાએવા વના હું કેન શનજી શકું પછી પોતાની શાયે ચહુડી ખેશવા શારૂ તેણે પીલપ ને તેડો

32 The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth :

૩૨ ને ધરમલેખમાંનું જે પણ તે વાંચતા હતા તે એ હુતું કે ગેટાની પઢી ભાગીનંખાવવાને તે લઈજવાઓ ને જૈન ગેટાનું બચ્ચું પોતાના કાતરનારની આગલ સુંશું છે તેમ તેણે પોતાનું મહા ઊ ઘાડું ની ધ

33 In his humiliation his judgment was taken away: and who shall declare his generation? for his life is taken from the earth.

૩૩ તેહેની લીનતામાં તેહેના ઇનશાષ્ટ્ર ઠરવા હરી લઈજવાઓ ને તેહેનો જીવ પણ પરથવી પરથી કહુડા માટે તેહેની પહેડીનું વર ત્રુન કોણ કહી દેખાડશ

34 And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray

thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man?

૩૪ તારે ખાનએ ીલપની શાથે બોલતાં કહ્યું હું તને

હું

વીનંતી કરૂંછુઊં કે ભવીશ કેહેનાર કાણુ શબંધી એ કેહેણે પોતા શ×ધી અથવા કોઈ બીન શસઁધી

35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.

૩૫ તાહારે પીલમે પેાતાનું નેહાડું ઊઘાડુંને તેજ ધરમલેખ શ્રી માંડીને ઈશુના શારા શમાચાર તેને કહા

36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

૩૬ ને તેઓ રશતામાં આગલ જતાં કોઈ પાઁણી પર પહોંચા તાારે ખેાાએ કહું કે તે પાણી [છે] નાહારૂં બાપતીશન કરવાને શું અટકાવેલું

37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

૩૭ તાલુારે પ્રીપે કહું ને તું પોતાના આખા મનથી વીશવાશ કરછે તો બેંગ છે ને તેણે જવાબ દેતાં કહ્યું કે ઈશ્યુ ખીશટ દેવના દીકરો છે હેવા બીશવાશ હું કરૂંછુંઊ

38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

૩૮ પછી રથ ઊભા રાખવાનો તેણે હુકમ કીધો ને પ્રીલપ તથા ખાને બેહુ પાણીમાં ઊતરા ને તેણે હેનું બાપતીશન કીધું

39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

૩૮ ને તે પાણીથી ઊપર આએવા પર પરભુનો આતમા પ્રીલપને ખેંચી લઈગઆ ને ખાનએ તહુને પૃથ્વી દીઠા ની તાહાર તે આનંદ કરતા પોતાને શતે ચાલાગ

40 But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Cesarea.

૪૦ પણ ીલપ આનેતશમાં દેખાઓ ને કાઇશાીમાં પહોંચા તાંહીં લગી શરત્રે શહેરોમાં શારા શમાચાર પરગટ કરતા ગ

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

૧ ને શાઊલ હજી સુધી પરભુના શીશો પર ધમકીઓને તથા હતાના દમ કાહુાડતાં સુખી ઈઆજક પાશ ગઆ

2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

૨ ને તેથી હૃનશકનાઁની નાડલીઆ પર હેલાં પતરા નાગાઁ કે જે આ ભારગના પુરશ અથવા અશતી કોઇને તે દૃખ તો તેઓન બાંધીને ઈરૂશાલેમમાઁ લાવે

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus : and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

૩ ને જતાં હૃનશકની પાશે તે પાઊંચા તાહારે અઁન થઊ કે એ કાએક તેહેની ચારે ગન આકાશથી અજવાળું ચનનું

4 And he fell to the earth, and hearda voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

૪ ને તેણે પરથી પર પડીને પોતાની શાથે બોલતાં એક વાણી થાંભલી કે આ શાઊલ આ શાઊલ તું મને કેમ

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

૫ તાહારે તેણે કહ્યું કે આ પરભુ તું કાણુ છે ને પરભુએ કહું કે હું ઈશ્યુ ! અને તું શતાવેછે આરેા પર લાત મારવી તાલુારે કઠણ [છું]

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

૬ તારે તે ધ્રુજતાં તથા અચરત કરતાં બાલા આ પરભુ શું કરૂં માટે તું પોતાની ઇછા કેહે તારે પરભુએ તેને [કહું] કે ઊડ ને શહેરમાં ત ને તને શું કરવું પડેછે એ તને કેહેવારો

7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

૭ તાહારે તેના રતાના શાથી નાંણુશા અણુ બેાતા ઊભા રહા તેઓએ વાણી શાંભલી ખરી પણ કોઈને દીઠો નહોતો

8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

૮ પછી શાઊલ પરથવી પરથી ઊઠેા ને તેની આંખો ઊઘડેલી છ તાં તેણે કોઈને દીઠા નહી પણ તેઓ તેના હાથ પકડીને દશકાઁ લાએવા

9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

૯ ને તરણું દાહાડા લગી તે દેખતા નહાતા ને કંઇ ખાતે પ્રી તા નાહાતા

10 f And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

૧૦ તાહારે દનશકમાં માનાના નાંને એક શીશ હુતા ને પર ભુએ તેને દરશણુમાં કહું કે એ આનાના ને તેણે કહું કે તે આ પરભુ હું [છુઊં] ઢ

11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, le prayeth,

૧૧ તાહારે પરભુએ તેને [કહું] કે તું ઊઠીને પાધરો કેહેવાએ લા રતામાં જા ને ઇહુરાના ઘરમાં તારાના શાઊલ નાં મેની શાધ કર કૈમકે ને તે પરારથના કરેછે

12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting is hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

૧૨ ને એણે દરશણુનાં નાના નાંને એક ભાણને નહે પે શતાં ને પોતે દેખવા પાઁને ભાટે પોતા પર તેહુને હાથ મુકતાં દીઠો

13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

૧૩ તાારે આનાનાએ જવાબ દીધો કે આ પરભુ મેં એ માઁ શ શમઁધી ઘણાથી શાંભલુંછે કે ઇશાલેમમાંના તાહારા પી તરો પર તેણે કેટલી ભુડાઇ કીધીછે *

14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

૧૪ ને તાહારા નાંનથી જે પરારથના કરેછે તે શવને બાઁધ બાને સુખી ઈઆજકોની ગનથી હું પણ તેહુને અધીકાર છે

15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
