Graded Poetry: Seventh Year

Katherine Blake and Georgia Alexander have co-edited a series of books on poetry for school aged children. They believe that poetry is best taught by being read and not by dissecting the structure and meter. This collection of poems is suggested for Middle School aged children. Authors included in this work are Shakespeare, Milton, Burns, Wordsworth, Tennyson, Browning Wadsworth, Longfellow and others. This book would make a wonderful introduction to poetry.
