reprint of that Edition; the only additions being Proprietary Phrases, such as have hitherto appeared in the Lists of Holders.
The reprint provides for the economical communication of about 15,000 Phrases, and a copious Index materially assists in the framing of Messages. Ordinary sentences and additions from other Codes can be freely introduced when necessary. The Code Words are plain dictionary words, as recommended by the St. Petersburg Conference, and complaints of error in transmission have been singularly few. THE PRACTICE OF PLACING A COPY OF THE CODE ON BOARD EACH SHIP IS RAPIDLY EXTENDING.
