In this book, Growth In A New Life In Christ, that you are about to read, we will look at two specific stories from the Bible that are excellent examples to use in examining your own Christian walk with Jesus. One is a parable; the other is a book from the Old Testament. The parable is The Vine And The Branches. The story is from the book of Esther. We will do a thorough study of both. I pray that, after you have completed your readings, you see more clearly the importance of the following:

Jesus in you.

Jesus growing His love in you.

Jesus attempting to live the Christian life through you.

I invite you to participate in each of the studies. Place yourself right there in the center of everything where Jesus always is. The Vine And The Branches and the story of Esther are also spiritual stories. They provide significant lessons for you to learn to the extent that you participate. I encourage you to participate fully because Jesus is waiting to grow you deeper in love with Him. Yes, your growth is very necessary and is done within you. Only Jesus can do the growing in you. So relax, rest in His love, and let the Holy Spirit grow you deeper in love with Jesus.

Sivu 55 - I am the vine, ye are the branches; he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
Sivu 37 - And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh ; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
Sivu 14 - There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom ; and their laws are diverse from all people ; neither keep they the king's laws : therefore it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.
Sivu 66 - O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
Sivu 8 - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Sivu 12 - And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.
