The Annual Examination was held at Stafford on 10th and 11th April, when 16 Candidates presented themselves for examination for first-class Certificates, and 25 for second-class Certificates; 4 of the former and 13 of the latter were successful.

The names of the successful Candidates were as follow :

The questions set in the Examination are given in Appendix III.

A list of plans, verified by comparison with the working plans, amended where necessary, and forwarded to the Home Office during the year, for preservation, is given in Appendix IV.

I have pleasure in reporting that no fatal accidents occurred during the year 1906,
