Gen. v. 24. And Enoch walked with God:... Gen. vi. 9. Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Gen. xvii. 1.... The Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Ex. xix. 5. Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people...

6. And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.

8. And all the people answered... All that the Lord hath spoken, we will do.

The Lord will shew who are his, and who is holy.

Deu. xiv. 2. For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Deu. xviii. 18. Thou shalt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Deu. xxvi. 19. ...That thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken.

Deu. xxxiii. 3. Yea, he loved the people; all his saints are in thy hand: and they sat down at thy feet; every one shall receive of thy words.

2 Ch. xxxi. 18. ... For in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness.

20. And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the Lord his God.

21. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart and prospered.

Job i. 8. And the Lord said... hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job viii. 20. Behold, God will not cast away a perfect

man,...

Ps. iv. 3. But know that the Lord hath set apart him that is godly for himself...

Ps. v. 7. But as for me, I will come into thine house... and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

P8. xviii. 26. With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure...

32. It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
