acres and fourteen perches, which is thirdly-described in the said schedule marked A.; on the south east side thereof by the sea shore; and on the north and north east sides thereof by land belonging to the said Honourable Edward Gordon Douglas Pennant.

No. 2. And also all that piece of land (formerly part of certain lands called Hirael), together with the several houses and other buildings erected and now standing thereon, containing (inclusively of the sites of the said houses and buildings) six acres, two roods, and twenty-six perches, or thereabouts, situate in the said parish of Bangor, and bounded on the south west and north west sides thereof by land belonging to the said trustees of the said Friar's Grammar School; on the south and south east sides thereof by land belonging to the said Honourable Edward Gordon Douglas Pennant; on the east side thereof by the road leading from Bangor to Hirael; and on the north east side thereof partly by land, now let on lease, forming part of the demesnes of the said see of Bangor, partly by the sea shore, and partly by land belonging to the devisees under the will of the late Dean Warren, and lately contracted to be sold by them to the trustees under the will of the late George Hay Dawkins Pennant, Esq.

And whereas the said scheme, together with the schedules thereunto annexed, have been approved by Her Majesty in Council; now, therefore, Her Majesty, by and with the advice of Her said Council, is pleased hereby to ratify the said scheme, and to order and direct that the same and every part thereof shall be effectual in law immediately from and after the time when this

Order shall have been published in the London Gazette, pursuant to the said Acts; and Her Majesty, by and with the like advice, is pleased hereby to direct, that this Order be forthwith registered by the Registrar of the diocese of Bangor.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend Henry Douglas to the church and parish of Kilsyth, in the presbytery of Glasgow and county of Stirling, vacant in consequence of the Reverend William Burns, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.
