The Queen has been pleased to present the Reverend William Thomson to the church and parish of Belhelvie, in the presbytery and county of Aberdeen, vacant by the death of Doctor Alexander John Forsyth, late Minister thereof.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend Maitland Thomson to the united churches and parishes of Dupplin and Aberdalgie, in the presbytery and county of Perth, vacant in consequence of the Reverend C. C. Stewart, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend John Gilchrist to the church and parish of Dunbog, in the presbytery of Cupar and county of Fife, vacant in consequence of the Reverend John Murray, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend Lachlan MacLean to the church and parish of Kinfauns, in the presbytery and county of Perth, vacant in consequence of the Reverend James M'Laggan, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend Nathaniel Morren to the charge and office of First Minister of the church and parish of Brechin, in the presbytery of Brechin and shire of Angus, vacant in consequence of the Reverend James M'Cosh, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

THE following Addresses of condolence to the Queen, on the occasion of the Death of His late Royal Highness the Duke of Sussex, having been transmitted to the Right Honourable Sir James Graham, Bart. The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend William Mearns to the united churches and parishes of Kinneff and Caterline, in the presbytery of Fordoun and county of Kincardine, vacant in consequence of the Reverend Thomas Brown, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend Robert William Fraser to the church and parish of Burntisland, in the presbytery of

Kirkcaldy and county of Fife, vacant in conse quence of the Reverend David Couper, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

The Queen has been pleased to nominate the Reverend Edward Herbert Smith, B. A. to the perpetual curacy of Killamarsh, in the county of Derby and diocese of Lichfield, the same being void by the death of the Reverend Frederick Ricketts.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Richard Graves MacDonnell, Esq. to be Judge of Her Majesty's Settlements in the Gambia.

The Queen has also been pleased to appoint Henry Joseph Hamblin, Esq. to be Surgeon of Her Majesty's Settlements in the Falkland Islands.

The Queen, taking into Her royal consideration that, upon the decease of George-William Earl of Coventry, the title and dignity of Earl · of Coventry devolved upon his grandson and heir, George-William now Earl of Coventry (a minor), as only son and heir of George-William Coventry, Esq. (commonly called Viscount Deerhurst), who was, whilst living, the eldest son and heir of the said George-William late Earl of Coventry, and that, according to the ordinary rules of honour, the 1843. 3 D
