Foreign-Office, November 13, 1843. The Queen has been pleased to approve of Don Juan del Cantillo, as Consul in Jamaica for Her Majesty the Queen of Spain.

The Queen has been graciously pleased to nominate and appoint Richard Pakenham, Esq. now Her Majesty's Minister Plenipotentiary to the Mexican Republick, to be Her Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the United States of America.

The Queen has also been graciously pleased to nominate and appoint Henry Lytton Bulwer, Esq. now Secretary to Her Majesty's Embassy at Paris, to be Her Majesty's Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the Queen of Spain.

The Queen has also been graciously pleased to nominate and appoint Lord William Hervey, formerly Secretary to Her Majesty's Legation at Madrid, to be Secretary to Her Majesty's Embassy at Paris.

The Queen has been pleased to present the Reverend James Boe to the church and parish of Dunblane, in the presbytery of Dunblane and county of Perth, vacant by the resignation of the Reverend Robert J. Johnstone, late Minister thereof.

The Queen has also been pleased to present the Reverend Robert Stobie to the church of Keiss, in the parish of Wick, in the presbytery and county of Caithness, vacant in consequence of the Reverend Thomas Gunn, late Minister thereof, having ceased to be a Minister of the Church of Scotland.

THE Queen has been pleased to nominate and appoint Alexander Wood, Esq. one of the Lords of Session in Scotland, to be one of the Lords of Justiciary in Scotland, in the room of Alexander Maconochie, Esq. resigned.

The Queen has also been pleased to grant the place of one of the Lords of Session in Scotland to Patrick Robertson, Esq. Dean of Faculty, in the room of Alexander Maconochie, Esq. resigned.

This Court will, on Monday the 27th and Tuesday the 28th of this month, and during the whole week, commencing on the 4th of December, hold Sittings, and will proceed in disposing of the business in the Special Paper and in the New Trial Paper, and in giving judgment in cases that may then be pending. Her Majesty's Commissioners for enquiring into the state of the law and practice in respect to the occupation of land in Ireland.
