FOR BEAUTIFYING & PRESERVING THE COMPLEXION.

SAUNDERS'S FACE POWDER, OR BLOOM OF NINON. A most delicate preparation for beautifying the Complexion; free from anything that can injure the Skin. The Face Powder, which has a most delicate roseate hue, imparts to the Face a pleasing and healthful appearance, and is preferable to all other preparations for preserving and clearing the Complexion. In the East Indies and other tropical climates its use will be found of immense advantage, its peculiar cooling properties rendering it indispensable at the Toilet of all who wish to preserve the beauty of their Complexion from the influence of climate.

It is needless to say more in favour of an article which has now become an indispensable adjunct to the Toilet of Beauty and Fashion.

Packets, 6d. and 18.; free for eight or sixteen stamps.
Boxes, 2s. 6d. and 5s.; free for forty or eighty stamps.

SAUNDERS'S PURE WHITE FACE POWDER.

Packets, price 1s.; Boxes, 2s. 6d. and 5s.

At the special request of many Ladies, this form of SAUNDERS'S FACE POWDER is prepared without colour, retaining in other respects all the approved qualities of this admired composition.

SAUNDERS'S EAU BLONDE, OR GOLDEN HAIR WATER,

FOR CHANGING DARK HAIR INTO THE GOLDEN COLOUR SO MUCH ADMIRED.

Pure, simple, harmless, but perfectly effective: no fear of failure, nor any
apprehension of injury to the Hair.

Golden Hair is the attendant attribute of female beauty in its highest form. Poets from Homer to
Milton, and from him to Byron, have sung its loveliness. Milton thus describes "The First Lady":-
"She, as a veil down to her waist,

Her unadorned Golden Tresses wore

Dishevell'd; but in wanton ringlets waved,

As the vine curls her tendrils."

The means of accomplishing this desideratum have been hitherto imperfect as well as dangerous to the well-being of the Hair. The Golden Hair Water of J. TOUZEAU SAUNDERS claims as a distinctive feature that it is perfectly harmless and a complete triumph over every objection, not only effecting the desired change, but really improving the hair in the course of its operation.

Its use in the Nursery will impart and retain the Golden Sunny Shade so much admired in Children's Hair. Price 4s. 6d. ; double size, 7s. 6d.

SYDENHAM COLLEGE is situated in Sydenham Park, a most delightful, advantageous, and salubrious locality, midway between the Forest Hill and Sydenham Stations, having capacious and convenient School and Class Rooms, Dormitories, and Baths, and with a large and commodious Playground.

The Pupils have free access to the magnificent Museum of Arts, Science, and History collected in the Crystal Palace and Grounds; and Classes are formed, whereby the full educational advantages of these grand and unrivalled collections may be made available.

The Course of Education prepares the Pupils for the Public Schools and for Professional Life, or it may be so directed as to enable them to enter with success upon Engineering or Commercial pursuits; and it comprises instruction, according to the Pupil's abilities and his future career, in ENGLISH LITERATURE, SCIENCE, THE CLASSICS, MATHEMATICS, GERMAN, FRENCHI, DRAWING, VOCAL MUSIC, and DRILLING.

The comforts and the health of the Pupils are deemed considerations of primary importance, and every arrangement is made to promote them.

A carefully selected Library, a Museum of interesting objects, illustrating the various departments of Natural History, and Philosophical Apparatus are provided. Lectures are delivered. Essays are prepared by the Pupils, and every opportunity is embraced to excite in the youthful mind a spirit of observation and reflection.

The Pupil's progress will be tested by periodical Examinations through the Examiners of the Universities and of the College of Preceptors.

The Academical Year is divided into three Terms-viz.: From Jan. 24 to April 30, from May 1 to July 30, and from Sept. 18 to Christmas; but Pupils can enter at any time, fees being calculated from the date of
