But even in these gloomy times there is much, very much, to encourage-in increased interest in, and large attendance upon, all our services, and the growing attachment to the "Good old paths," to which they have been so long strangers. The sad condition of the country has somewhat retarded the completion of the edi fice. It will, however, be ready for use in a few weeks. We are enabled to do this by the generosity of a gentleman, not a communicant, who has placed in our hands a house and lot, that we may sell, and proceed in our designs. This is only one of the countless blessings that have reach ed us from the Great Head of the Church. Oh! may thousands upon thousands be born in this house for eternity! My connection with Mishawaka, as Rector, was severed last fall, my whole time being demanded by St. James', Goshen. But I have occasionally officiated at that point, and at South Bend.
