Lo, this only have I found, That God hath madeglian upright But they have fought out many invention.

HERE are four things very neceffary to be known by all that would fee heaven. First, What mir was the ftate of innocence, as God made him. Se condly, What he is in the flate of corrupt Lature, as ne hath unmade himself, Thirdly, What he muil be in the frate of grace, as created in Chrift Jefus unto good works, if ever he be made a partaker of the inheritance of the farats in light. And, lafly, What he Chall be in his etergal fais as made by the judge of all, either perfe&ly happy or com pleatly miferable, and that for ever. Phete are wel points, that touch the vitals of practical gċdlinefs, it which moft men, and even many profeffors, in thefe deep, of vime, are quite effranged. I defign toerefore, ador the divine conduct, to open up these things, and apply them.
