David Ingram has been a professor of Philosophy at Loyola University since 1987, specializing in social and political philosophy, as well as philosophy of law and social science and critical race theory. He received Casa Guatemala’s Human Rights Award in 1999 and was Loyola’s Graduate Faculty Member of the Year in 2013. He’s the author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Ethics.

Jennifer A. Parks, PhD, is the director of the undergraduate bioethics minor program in the Department of Philosophy of Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Parks is the coauthor of Society: The Critical Turn (with Martha Holstein and Mark Waymack), Bioethics in a Changing World (with Victoria Wike), and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding Ethics (with David Ingram).
