Out of the mouth of babes and fucklings haft thou ordained ftrength: because of thine enemies;

When I confider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers: the moon and the stars which thou haft ordained.

What is man, that thou art mindful of him: and the son of man, that thou visitest him ?

Thou madeft him to have dominion over the works of thy hands:

Y God! my God! why haft thou forfaken me? why art thou fo far from helping me, and from the words of my complaint?

O my God, I cry in the day-time, but thou hearest not: and in the night-feafon alfo I am not filent. But thou continuest holy: O thou worship of Ifrael.

Our fathers hoped in thee: they trufted in thee, and thou didst deliver them.

They called upon thee, and were holpen: they put their truft in thee, and were n confounded.

Be not far from me: for trouble is near, and there is none to help. I am poured out like water: all my bones are out of joint. My heart in the midst of my body is even like melting wax:1 : my strength dried up like a potsherd. My tongue cleaveth to my gums: and thou haft brought me into the duft of death.

For many dogs have compaffed me: the affembly of the wicked have inclosed me.

They pierced my hands and my feet; I may tell all my bones: They look and ftare upon me; they part my garinents among them, and caft lots upon my vesture.

But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my ftrength, hafte thee to help me.

Deliver my foul from the fword, my darling from the power of the dog: Save me from the lion's mouth; thou haft heard me alfo from the horns of the unicorns. among

I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

O praise the LORD, ye that fear him magnify him, all ye of the feed of Jacob, and fear him, all ye feed of Ifrael.

For he hath not despised nor abhorred the low eftate of the poor, neither hath he hid his face from him but when he cried unto him, he heard.

My praise fhall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

There is a river, the ftreams whereof shall make glad the city of God: the holy place of the tabernacle of the moft High.

God is in the midst of her, therefore shall she not be removed God fhall help her, and that right early.

The heathen make much ado, and the kingdoms are moved: but God hath fhewed his voice, and the earth fhall melt away.

The Lord of hofts is with us: the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of the Lord: what defolations he hath made in the earth.

He maketh war to cease in all the world: Be ftill then, and know that I am God.

I will be exalted among the heathen: I will be exalted in the earth.

Clap your hands, all ye people fing unto God with the voice of melody.

For the LORD most high is terrible, he is a great king over all the earth.

He fhall fubdue the people under us and the nations under our feet.
