The Sinews which for us torn were,

Who live but by his grace, without His foldiers thefe fupport and guide,

Their will is to the Lamb in love

Henceforward given up entire,
So long as them on earth to mové,
His Order o'er them fhall require:
They fay; "Dear Lamb! just what

thou wilt;

"As Grace we all things look upon; "Thou haft our thirst and hunger fill'd;

"On thy Path we with joy will ran. 8. "Wouldst thou that ftill in this

9. Now, fellow-members! you will foon,

What we would fay, difcern and

A Warrior ftate for grace's crown, You have already once embrac'd. The Lamb, O Church! has left thee free;

But yet has bought thee with this view,

To witness, that he on the Tree
Dy'd for the World as well as you.
10. With foul and body thou art his;
His Will and thine are now but one:
The Father of Immanuel is
God of the Congregation!
To the Wounds therefore of the
Lamb

All thy dear Souls commit I o'er ;
The Corpfe upon the cross's beam
Their Bodies too keep by its pow'r,

Thy Wounds appear
In thefe our days!

'Fore Chrift Jehovah ftand,
All honour to their Lord

Each wou'd defcend, glad to attend,

The flock of Indians dear.

8. What is't ye do? Ye four, who glow With love! ye call,

bright;"Hearken, ye Elders all!

Now doft thou their bright rays

Many Commands, as many Conquests are;

'Mongft thy beggars give him

Child, all children's Father true!
By thy Spirit beget him new:
Head of all the united Sheep!
Teach him what is Fellowship.

3. My dearest Saviour, tell me how My thankfulness to shew For all thy Love, before and now,

Elfe I fhall never know.

4. I think, fince I so often hear

That thou doft want my Heart As thy reward and purchase dear, That thou in earnest art.

In nothing bad myself allow,

Nor ever fhew felf-will. 7. But I am weak, and nothing can, Myfelf can nothing do; Help me, O thou Almighty Man! Help my Companions too. 8. Preferve our little Hearts fecure From ev'ry hurt and stain ; First make them, and then keep them pure,

And fhut to all that's vain.

9. If early thou wouldst take me hence,

O, that no harm will be: Into thy Arms I'll go at once,

And ever live with Thee. 10. If thou would'st have me longer ftay,

In Years and Stature grow ;
Help me to ferve thee night and day,
While I am here below.

11. Then, after walking in thy Ways
And ferving thee in love,
Put a bleft end unto these Days,
And kiss me there above.
