Sivu 209 - Is a party which may Involve the employment of laborers, workmen or mechanics shall contain a stipulation that no laborer, workman or mechanic in the employ of the contractor, sub-contractor or other person doing or contracting to do the whole or a part of the work contemplated by the contract shall be permitted or required to work more than eight hours in any one calendar day, except in cases of extraordinary emergency caused by flre, flood or danger to life or property.
Sivu 209 - Eight hours shall constitute a legal day's work for all classes of employees In this State except those engaged in farm and domestic service unless otherwise provided by law.
Sivu 86 - For the purpose of voting, no person shall be deemed to have gained or lost a residence by reason of his presence or absence while employed in the service of the United States ; nor while engaged in the navigation of the waters of this State, or of the United States, or of the high seas ; nor while a student of any seminary of learning ; nor while kept at any almshouse, or other asylum, at public expense ; nor while confined in any public prison.
Sivu 57 - ... make use of the same himself or in conjunction with another. A person who violates any provision of this section, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall forfeit his office at the suit of the Attorney-General.
