Ver. 10. For the mountains fhall depart, and the hills be removed, but my kindness fhall not depart from thee, neither fhall the covenant of my peace be removed, faith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

XVIII. Promifes of CHRIST.

Ifa. ix. 6. Unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government fhall be upon his fhoulder; and his name fhall be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, the Mighty GOD, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.

Ifa. xlii. 6. I, the LORD, have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and will give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles.

Ifa. Iv. 4. Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people. Mal. iv. 2. But unto you that fear my name, fhall the Sun of righteoufnefs arife with healing in his wings; and ye fhall go forth, and grow up as calves of the ftall.

John iii. 16. GOD fo loved the world, that he

He that eateth me, even he fhall live

Gal. ii. 20. I am crucified with Chrift, neverthelefs I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me : And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of GOD, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Eph. ii. 1. You hath he quickened, who were deadin trefpaffes and fins.

Ver. 5. Even when we were dead in fins, he hath quickened us together with Chrift (by grace ye are faved).

Ver. 6. And hath raised us together, and made us fit together in heavenly places in Chrift Jefus.

Rom. vi. 8. If we be dead with Chrift, we believe. that we fhall alfo live with him.

Ver. 11. Reckon ye yourselves to be dead indeed unto fin, but alive unto GOD, through Jefus Christ our LORD.

Col. iii. 3. For ye are dead, and your life is hid

with Chrift in GOD.

Ver. 4. When Chrift who is our life fhall appear, then fhall ye also appear with him in glory.

1 John v. 12. He that hath the Son, hath life. John x. 10. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

His Interceffion.

Ifa. liii. 12. He made interceffion for the tranfgreffors.

Rom. viii. 34. It is Chriftwho maketh interceffion for us.

Heb. vii. 25. Wherefore he is able alfo to fave them to the uttermoft, that come unto GOD by him, seeing he ever liveth to make interceffion for them.

Heb. ix. 24. Chrift is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the

true;

true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the prefence of GOD for us.

Heb. iv. 14. Seeing then that we have a great high prieft, that is passed into the heavens, Jefus the Son of GOD, let us hold faft our profeffion.

Ver. 15. For we have not an high priest, which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without fin.

Ver. 16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

His Love.

John xiii. 1.

John xv. 9. As the Father hath loved me, fo have I loved you: -Continue ye in my love.

Having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

Ver. 34. A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye alfo love one another.

Rom. viii. 37. In all these things we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.

Rev. i. 5. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our fins in his own blood.

Rev. iii. 9. And to know that I have loved thee. P. xlv. 11. So fhall the King greatly defire thy beauty.
