In order to show the entire expenditure for which the State was responsible in 18991900, there have to be added (1) the expenditure to which the Public Revenue paid into the Local Taxation Accounts is devoted, and (2) the expenditure chargeable to Capital Account. These additions are made in the following statement: I.
