a. These things are written, that we might believe, that Jefus is the Chrift, the Son of God; that we should truft in his Name; and that all Men fhould honour the Son, even as they honour the Father: who, when he brought in the first begotten into the World, faith, and let all the Angels of God worship him.

b. This is the Doctrine of the great God, and our Saviour Jefus Chrift: to him be Glory, both now, and for ever.

He was made Man.

c. Chrift Jefus, being in the Form of God, and thinking it no Robbery to be equal with God, made himself of no Reputation, and took upon him the Form of a Servant, and was made in the likeness of Men, and was found in Fashion as a Man, being made of a Woman, in the likeness of finful Flesh.

d. He came down from Heaven, from the Bofom of the Father; and, being made a little lower than the Angels, as the Children of Men are Partakers of Flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the fame.

a. And the Word was made Flesh, and dwelt among us: God was manifeft in the Flesh.

a. He was that Prophet, that should come into the World; a Teacher come from God, to teach the way of God, in Truth.

b. To this End was he born, and for this. Cause came he into the World, that he should bear Witness unto the Truth.

c. Chrift Jefus was the Apostle, and HighPrieft of our Profeffion; called of God an High-Prieft, after the Order of Melchizedeck; being an High-Priest of Good Things to come;.. A Minister of the Sanctuary, and of the true; Tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not Man.

d. The fame Jefus is the Lamb of God, which taketh away the Sin of the World ; a Lamb without Blemish, and without Spot.

e. There is one Mediator between God and Men, the Man Chrift Jefus; who who gave felf a Ranfom for all.

f. This is indeed the Saviour of the World; in whom we have Redemption; who is our Advocate with the Father; and the Author

a. This is he that was born King of the Jews; and is now the Prince of the Kings of the Earth; who fhall Judge the Quick and the Dead, at his appearing, and his Kingdom.

b. He is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.

By what means JESUS CHRIST hath wrought SALVATION for us.

He performed the whole Law.

c. Chrift came not to deftroy the Law, or the Prophets, but to fulfil them. For he was made under the Law, to redeem them that were under the Law; and he hath, as it became him, fulfilled all Righteousness.

d. He pleafed not himself, neither fought he his own Will, but the Will of the Father which fent him; For he did always thofe things that pleased the Father.

e. He was meek and lowly in Heart: He did no Violence, neither was any Deceit in his Mouth: When he was reviled, he reviled not
