PERSEVERANCE.

a. Let us hold faft the Profeffion of our Faith, without wavering.

b. Continue ye in the Faith, grounded and fettled, and be not moved away from the Hope of the Gospel, which ye have heard.

c. Beware, left, being led away by the Error of the Wicked, ye fall from your own Stedfastnefs: For we are made Partakers of Chrift, if we hold the beginning of our Confidence stedfaft unto the end.

d. If ye continue in my Word, (faith Christ) then are ye my Disciples indeed.

e. They which have believed in God Thould be careful to maintain good Works: Keep your felves therefore in the Love of God, wait on God continually; and be conftant to do his Commandments.

f. Look to your felves, that ye lose not those things which je have wrought; but that ye receive a full Reward.

g. Let him that thinketh he standeth take heed left he fall.

In General.

QD commandeth all Men, every where, to repent; and to turn to him, and to do Works meet for Repentance.

b. God requireth that which is past; therefore let every Man repent him of his Wickednefs; faying, What have I done ?

c. Our Tranfgreffions are multiplied before God, and our Sins teftifie against us; yea, the very best of our Works are not found perfect before God: Let us be zealous therefore, and repent.

d. Stand not in an evil thing. Wash thine Heart from Wickedness, that thou mayeft be faved: How long shall thy vain Thoughts lodge within thee?
