the very fame word in the Hebrew which is

tranflated Signs, Gen. i. 14. and is meant of the fame things, that is, the Sun, Moon, and Stars, to which we may

[The remoteft People of the Earth, when they fee and confider the Motions of the Sun, Moon, Stars, Lightning, and Thunder, fhall have fome apprehenfions and fear of thy Power, who haft fo made and order'd the returns of Day and Night, as to provoke Men thereby to praise thee the Author of them.

A Pfalm or Song, Bishop Patrick conjectures, that it is that form of words which David used in Blessing the People, 2 Sam. vi. 17, 18. wherein he imitates that form of Bleffing ufed by the Priests on folemn Occafions, Numb. vi. 23, 24, 25.
