Who healeth all thy diseases;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction;
Who crowneth thee with kindness and mercies;
Who satisfieth thy mouth with good;

Thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
JEHOVAH executeth righteousness
And judgment for all that are oppressed.
He made known his ways to Moses,
His acts to the children of Israel.

I WAS glad when they said unto me, Let us go to the house of JEHOVAH ;

[Sel. 126.]

Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem :
Jerusalem is built as a city compact together.

Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of JAH:

A testimony to Israel, to give thanks to the name of JEHOVAH.

For there are set thrones of judgment:

The thrones of the house of David.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem :

They shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls;

Prosperity within thy palaces.

For my brethren and companions' sakes,

I will now say, Peace be within thee.

For the sake of the house of JEHOVAH Our GOD,

I will seek good to thee.

How beautiful upon the mountains

Are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,
That proclaimeth peace;

That bringeth good tidings of good,

That publisheth salvation;

That saith to Zion, Thy GOD reigneth!
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice:
With the voice together shall they sing.
For they shall see eye to eye,

When JEHOVAH shall bring again Zion.
Break forth into joy:

Sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem.

[Sel. 44.]

For JEHOVAH hath comforted his people;
He hath redeemed Jerusalem.
JEHOVAH hath made bare his holy arm,
In the eyes of all the nations.
And all the ends of the earth
Shall see the salvation of our God.

[Sel. 65.]

PART II.

[Then shall be read one or more of the following passages from the Word, as introductory to prayer.]

TAKE no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, of whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him! Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Ar that time, Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight! All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no one knoweth

the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any one the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

COME unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

THEN said Jesus unto his disciples, If any one will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

AGAIN I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth, as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven: for where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

AND Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith of GOD. For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand

praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any: that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

BUT I say unto you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to them who hate you, bless them that curse you, and pray for them who despitefully use you. And unto him that smiteth thee on the cheek, offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak, forbid not to take thy coat also. Give to every one that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and the evil. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

AND I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children; how much more shall the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him!

TAKE heed to yourselves! If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one

a Pharisee, and the other a Publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself: GOD, I thank thee, that I am not as other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this Publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess. And the Publican, standing afar off, would not lift so much as the eyes unto heaven; but smote upon his breast, saying, GOD be merciful to me a sinner! I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was GOD. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us; and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

FOR GOD So loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

BUT the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father seeketh such to worship him. GOD is a Spirit; and they that worship him must worship in spirit and in truth.

AND Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
