¶If those who prefent the Infant fhall defire the fign of the Cross to be omitted, although the Church knows no worthy cause of fcruple concerning the fame, yet, in that cafe, the Minifter may omit that part of the above which follows the Immerfion, or the pouring of Water on the Infant.
