On account of winter, a slothful man plough; Therefore shall he seek in harvest, nothing. will not ↑ but find The slothful man saith, ‘A lion is | in the | street ; In the open places, I shall be slain.' Go to the ant, thou | sluggard ; The wicked man worketh for deceitful wages; But he who soweth righteousness hath a sure re ward. Riches profit not in the day of wrath; But righteousness deliver eth from | death. There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath not anything; There is that maketh himself poor, yet | hath. great wealth. The blessing of the Lord, that maketh | rich; A good name is to be chosen rather than great | riches; And loving favour | rather than silver and gold. The rich and the poor | meet to | gether; The Lord is the | maker | cf them all. The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he cat much or little; But the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of | life; 73. wise. PROVERBS. 2 HE that hath pity upon the poor, lendeth un to the Lord; And that which he hath given | will he | pay him a Į gain. If he that hateth thee be hungry, give him | bread to eat; And if he be thirsty, | give him | water to drink. For brands of fire thou wilt heap up | on his head, And the Lord will | recompense thee.
