For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, And as a watch | in the night. Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: In the morning they are like grass which | groweth | up. In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth | up; The days of our years are threescore | years and ten; And if by reason of strength they be fourscore | years, Yet is their strength | labour and sorrow; So teach us to number our days, That we may apply our hearts | unto | wisdom. That we may rejoice and be glad | all our | days. Make us glad according to the days wherein thou | hast afflicted us ? And the years where | in we have seen | evil. And let the beauty of the Lord our God be up on us; And establish thou the work of our hands up | on us; Yea, the work of our | hands Establish thou | it. PSALM XC. 1-6,10,12,14-17. F 27. HE that dwelleth in the secret place of the most | high Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him | will I | trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the | snare of the | fowler, And from the noisome | pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou | trust: I His truth shall be thy | shield and | buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; Nor for the arrow that | flieth by | day; Nor for the pestilence that | walketh in | darkness: Nor for the destruction that wasteth at noon | day. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand ; But it shall not | come nigh | thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou be hold And see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my [ refuge, Even the most | High, thy habitation; There shall no evil be fall thee, Neither shall any | plague come | nigh thy | dwelling.. For he shall give his angels | charge | over thee,, They shall bear thee up | in their | hands, Thou shalt tread upon the | lion and | adder: The young lion and the dragon shalt thou | trample | under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him : I will set him on high, because he hath | known my | name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver | him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation. PSALM XCI. 28. OH COME, let us sing unto the Lord: Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanks | giving, And make a joyful | noise unto him with psalms. For the Lord is a great | God, And a great | King above all | gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: The sea is his, and he made it; And his hands formed the dry | land. O come, let us worship and bow down: Let us kneel before the | Lord our maker. For he is our God; And we are the people | of his pasture, And the sheep of his | hand. Oh that ye would this day | hear his voice!- "Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, And as in the day of temptation |in the| wilderness : When your fathers | tempted me, Forty years long was I grieved with this gene | ration and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they ways: wrath enter into my rest." PSALM XCV. 29. OH SİNG unto the Lord | a new song: day to day. Declare his glory among the heathen, His wonders among all | people. For the Lord is great, and greatly | to be praised: He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: But the Lord made the heavens. Honour and majesty | are before him: Strength and beauty are in his | sanctuary. Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, Give unto the Lord the glory due un to his | name : Bring an offering, and come in to his | courts. Oh worship the Lord in the beauty of | holiness: Fear before him | all the earth. Say among the heathen that the Lord | reigneth: The worl also shall be established that it | shall | not be moved. Let the heavens rejoice, And let the earth be | giad; 1 Let the sea rear, and the fulness there | of, Let the field be joyful, and | all that | is there | in. Then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice before the Lord: For he cometh, for he | cometh to | judge the earth: He shall judge the world with | righteousness, And the people with his truth. PSALM XCVI. 30. THE Lord reigneth; let the earth rejoice, His lightnings enlightened the world, The earth saw, and trembled. The hills melted like wax at the presence of the | Lord, At the presence of the | Lord of the whole | earth. |
