According to this word, God, at different periods, did send the armies of the Babylonian and Roman conquerors, severally to execute judginent upon his impenitent people. Now if they—the elect, the chosen- if they were not spared in their sin, how shall we be spared in EUTS! “ If God spared not the natural branches,” take we heed "lest he spare not us, the branches graffed in.”
