WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the law relating to the Preamble.

1. From and after the passing of this Act an Act of the Repeal of 17 Vict. Lieutenant-Governor and Legislative Council of the said colony of No. 6. Victoria passed in the seventeenth year of the reign of Her present Majesty Queen Victoria intituled " An Act for granting Duties of Customs in the Colony of Victoria" shall be and the same is hereby repealed, except as to any arrears of duty or drawback due or payable at any time before the passing of this Act under the provisions of the said Act hereby repealed.
