The mode of division is fully stated in the Company's Prospectus, which can be obtained on application at the Company's Offices or Agencies. The periods of division have been 1835, 1840, 1845, 1850, 1855, 1860, 1865, and 1870. THE NINTH DIVISION OF PROFITS WILL TAKE PLACE IN 1875..

LIBERAL CONDITIONS OF ASSURANCE.

THE

HE STANDARD COMPANY has long taken the lead in Spr PLIFYING THE CONDITIONS and LIBERALIZING THE CONTRACT of Life Assurance, thereby giving greatly increased Security to the holders of the Company's Policies, an advantage of especial value when the Assurance is intended to be assigned or to form the basis of pecuniary obligations. The marked success which has attended the progress of the Company is, no doubt, due in a great measure to the liberality of its dealings.

FREE RESIDENCE ALLOWED IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD without payment of Extra Premium, in the case of professional men and others, who, having no intention of proceeding abroad when they took out their Policies, have occasion afterwards to do so.

FREE RESIDENCE allowed to all Policyholders in any part of Europe, and in various other parts of the world. Moderate extra Premiums for residence beyond the limit of temperate climates for those not having Free policies.

RENEWAL OF POLICIES.-30 days allowed for the payment of the renewal Premium in all cases, and 13 months altogether under Policies of 5 years' standing, without medical certificate, on payment of a fine; and if death occurs within these 13 months, it is the Company's practice to pay the amount assured, under deduction of the unpaid Premiums and fines. After the 13 months the Policy is forfeited, but the surrender value remains available for 5 years, as explained in the Company's Prospectus. Policies of less than 5 years' standing may also be renewed after the expiry of 30 days or

liberal conditions.

A STANDARD POLICY IS UNCHALLENGEABLE on any ground whatever connected with the original documents proceeding on which the Assurance was granted, age having been proved, when the Policy is of 5 years' standing.
