succeeding January. Life members pay $30 in lieu of all dues, which sum is invested with the Reserve Fund and held in perpetuity, to guarantee the future interests of such members.
When a member becomes in arrears for more than one year, sending the publications to him is discontinued. Every person admitted to membership is considered as belonging to the Institute, and liable for the payment of dues until he shnll have informed the Secretary and Treasurer at Annapolis, Md., of his desire to withdraw, when, if his dues have been fully paid, his name shall be erased from the list of members.
Annual subscription to Proceedings for non-members, $3.50. Single copies of Proceedings, $1 each. Copies bound in cloth are furnished to members and subscribers at $1 per annum extra. Volumes bound in half morocco or half calf at $0.90 per cover.
Remittances should be made payable to the order of the Secretary and Treasurer, U. S. Naval Institute.
Additions To The Library.
Contributions of books on professional subjects will be received and added to the Library. Members of the Institute and others interested in its purpose are invited to secure and send to the Institute such books or reports. The Institute Office at Annapolis, Md., is open every business day from 9 A. M. till 1 P. M., and from 3 to 5 P. M. Members visiting Annapolis, Md., are invited to the office of the Institute.
