CRESCENT IRON WORKS, SALFORD, MANCHESTER.

These works, have, during
the last year or two, been considerably extended,
and the new erecting shops have been fitted with
all the newest and best tools and machinery, not
only to economize cost of production, but to en-
sure even greater accuracy of detail and perfection
of finish of our special manufactures in the future
than in the past.

To Shippers.

Bradford's Domestic Machinery finds a ready sale in every Colonial and Continental market, and more especially the celebrated "Vowel " Washing Machines, and the Wringing and Mangling Machines of almost equally good repute.

Their greater usefulness, substantial and durable character, have, in fact, established for them a reputation that is now universally recognized, as evidenced by the Foreign and Colonial Prize Medals awarded to them, and also by many thousands of letters testifying to their great value, from almost every nook and corner of the world.

has been recorded, but the most satisfactory reports and repeats of orders by each Mail. Wringing and Mangling Machines.

The same may be said of these, both as to their usefulness and good repute. Why? Because they have always been designed by us, and made by us, for USE and not for SHOW-the best materials only being used, consequently losses arising from breakages, whether in transit or use, are very rare.

LABOUR SAVING.-These Machines are essentially labour saving machines, and wherever labour is scarce, and especially female labour, they will be found invaluable.

"Dia

THE CHURNS-more especially the phragm" ("the Churn of Churns") and the "Declivity" Churos, also Butter Workers, which comprise the "Albany," "Alderney," and "Embree"; and our Dairy Appliances generally have recently been awarded Silver and Gold Medals by the Royal Agricultural and the larger Societies of England, Scotland, and Ireland, and the principal County Societies. "Diaphragm "and "Charlemont" Churns with two lids have been adopted by all the large Butter Factories in England and Ireland almost without exception.

Especial attention is directed to the success of the "Vowel" Washing Machine for Export, in consequence of its working simplicity and entire freedom from parts that would be liable to breakage or injury, either in the ironwork or woodwork, and through which many Machines of other makers, after the expense of importation, have, upon arrival out, been found comparatively useless. Although large numbers of the "Vowel " Washing Machine have been sent out to India, China, Australia, New Zealand, and North and South America during the last ten years, not a single instance of breakage or failure in any way Please apply for new Export Catalogue with new Export Nett List. Free by Post.

PACKAGES FOR EXPORT.-The Machines can be packed entire in special cases or crates, or, when desirable (as with all our old Colonial Agents), they can be taken to pieces and packed in parts, each part being numbered.
