A hwy a ddywedasant wrtho, pa le y mynni barottôi o honom? Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Wele, pan ddefoch i mewn i'r ddinas, cyferfydd â chwi ddyn yn dwyn ystenaid o ddwfr; canlynwch ef i'r tŷ lle yr el efe i mewn. A dywedwch wrth wr y tŷ, Y mae'r Athraw yn dywedyd wrthyt, Pa le y mae'r lletty, lle y gallwyf fwytta'r pasc gyda'm disgyblion? Ac efe a ddengys i chwi oruwchystafell fawr, wedi ei thaenu; yno parottôwch. A hwy a aethant, ac a gawsant fel y dywedasai efe wrthynt; ac a barottoisant y pasc. A phan ddaeth yr awr, efe a eisteddodd i lawr, a'r deuddeg apostol gydâg ef. Acefeaddywedodd wrthynt, Mi a chwennychhwn fawr fwytta'r pasc yn gyda chwi, cyn dioddef o honof. Canys yr ydwyf yn dywedyd i chwi, Ni fwyttâf fi mwyach o hono, hyd oni chyflawner yn nheyrnas Duw. Ac wedi iddo gymmeryd y cwppan, a rhoddi diolch, efe a ddywedodd, Cymmerwch hwn, a rhennwch yn eich plith. Canys yr ydwyf yn dywedyd i chwi, nad yfaf o ffrwyth y winwŷdden, hyd oni ddêl teyrnas Duw. Ac wedi iddo gymmeryd bara, a rhoi dïolch, efe a'i torrodd, ac a'i rhoddes iddynt, gan ddywedyd, Hwn yw fy nghorph, yr hwn yr ydys yn ei roddi trosoch gwnewch hyn er coffa am danaf. Yrun modd y cwppan hefyd wedi swpperu, gan ddywedyd, Y cwppan hwn yw'r testament newydd yn fy ngwaed i, yr hwn yr ydys yn ei dywallt trosoch. Eithr wele law'r hwn sydd yn fy mradychu, gydâ mi ar y bwrdd. Ac yn wîr, y mae Mab y dyn yn myned, megis y mae wedi ei luniaethu eithr gwae'r dyn hwnnw trwy'r hwn y bradychir ef. Hwythau a ddechreuasant ymofyn yn eu plith eu hun, pwy o

pare us the passover, that we may eat. And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare? And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in. And ye shall say unto the good-man of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished; there make ready. And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover. And when the hour was come he sat down, and the twelve Apostles with him. And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer: for I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the Kingdom of God. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves. For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the Kingdom of God shall come. And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body, which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me. Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you. But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me the table. And truly the Son of Man goeth as it was determined; but wo unto that man by whom he is betrayed. And

honynt oedd yr hwn a wnai hynny. A bu ymryson yn eu plith, pwy o honynt a dybygid ei fod yn fwyaf. Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Y mae brenhinoedd y Cenhedloedd yn arglwyddiaethu arnynt: a'r rhai y sy mewn awdurdod arnynt, a elwir yn bendefigion. Önd na fyddwch chwi felly; eithr y mwyaf yn eich plith chwi, bydded megis yr ieuangaf; a'r pennaf, megis yr hwn sydd yn gweini. Canys pa un fwyaf, ai'r hwn sydd yn eistedd ar y bwrdd, ai'r hwn sydd yn gwasanaethu? onid yr hwn sydd yn eistedd ar y bwrdd? eithr yr ydwyf fi yn eich mysg fel un yn gwasanaethu. A chwychwi yw y rhai a arhosasoch gydâ mi yn fy mhrofedigaethau. Ac yr wyf fi yn ordeinio i chwi deyrnas, megis yr ordeiniodd fy Nhad i minnau; fel y bwyttâoch ac yr yfoch ar fy mwrdd i yn fy nheyrnas; ac yr eisteddoch ar orseddfeydd, yn barnu deuddeg llwyth Israel. A'r Arglwydd a ddywedodd, Simon, Simon, wele, Satan a'ch ceisiodd chwi, i'ch nithio fel gwenith; eithr mi a weddïais trosot, na ddiffygiai dy ffydd di: tithau pan y'th droër, cadarnhâ dy frodyr. Ac efe a ddywedodd wrtho, Arglwydd, yr ydwyf fi yn barod i fyned gyda thi i garchar ac i angau. Yntau a ddywedodd, Yr wyf yn dywedyd i ti, Petr, Na chân y ceiliog heddyw, nes i ti wadu dair gwaith yr adwaeni fi. Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Pan y'ch anfonais heb na phwrs, na chod, nac esgidiau, a fu arnoch eisiau dim? A hwy a ddywedasant, Na ddo ddim. Yna y dywedodd wrthynt, Ond yn awr y neb sydd ganddo bwrs, cymmered; a'r un modd god: a'r neb nid oes ganddo, gwerthed ei bais, a phryned gleddyf. Canys yr wyf yn dywedyd i chwi, fod yn

they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing. And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest. And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors. But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve. For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth. Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: but I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not; and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee both into prison and to death. And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me. And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword,

rhaid etto gyflawni ynof fi y peth hwn a'sgrifenwyd, sef, A chyda'r anwir y cyfrifwyd ef. Canys y mae diben i'r pethau am danaf fi. Ahwy a ddywedasant, Arglwydd, wele ddau gleddyf yma. Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Digon yw. Ac wedi iddo fyned allan, efe a aeth, yn ol ei arfer, i fynydd yr Olewydd; a'i ddisgyblion hefyd a'i canlynasant ef. A phan ddaeth efe i'r fan, efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Gweddïwch nad eloch mewn profedigaeth. Ac efe adynnodd oddiwrthynt tuag ergyd carreg; ac wedi iddo fyned ar ei liniau, efe a weddïodd, gan ddywedyd, O Dad, os ewyllysi droi heibio y cwppan hwn oddiwrthyf: er hynny nid fy ewyllys i, ond yr eiddot ti a wneler. Ac angel o'r nef a'r ymddangosodd iddo, yn ei nerthu ef. Ac efe mewn ymdrech meddwl, a weddïodd yn ddyfalach; a'i chwŷs ef oedd fel defnynau gwaed, yn disgyn ar y ddaear. A phan gododd efe o'i weddi, a dyfod at ei ddisgyblion, efe a'u cafodd hwynt yn cysgu gan dristwch; ac a ddywedodd wrthynt, Paham yr ydych yn cysgu? codwch, a gweddiwch nad eloch mewn profedigaeth. Ac efe etto yn llefaru, wele dyrfa; a'r hwn a elwir Iudas, un o'r deuddeg, oedd yn myned o'u blaen hwynt, ac a nesâodd at yr Iesu, i'w gusanu ef. A'r Iesu a ddywedodd wrtho, Iudas, ai â chusan yr wyt ti yn bradychu Mab y dyn? A phan welodd y rhai oedd yn ei gylch ef y peth oedd ar ddyfod, hwy a ddywedasant wrtho, Arglwydd, a darâwn ni â chleddyf? A rhyw un o honynt a darawodd wâs yr arch-offeiriad, ac a dorrodd ymaith ei glust ddehau ef. A'r Iesu a attebodd ac a ddywedodd, Goddefwch hyd yn hyn. Ac efe a gyffyrddodd a'i glust, ac a'i

let him sell his garment, and buy one. For I say unto you, That this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end. And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough. And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives, and his disciples also followed him. And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray, that ye enter not into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down and prayed, saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless, not my will, but thine be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony, he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. while he yet spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of Man with a kiss? When they who were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and

odd wrth yr arch-offeiriaid, a blaenoriaid y deml, a'r henuriaid, y rhai a ddaethant atto, Ai fel at leidr y daethoch chwi allan â chleddyfau, ac â ffyn? Pan oeddwn beunydd gydâ chwi yn y deml, nid estynasoch ddwylaw i'm herbyn: eithr hon yw eich awr chwi, a gallu'r tywyllwch. A hwy a'i daliasant ef, ac a'i harweiniasant, ac a'i dygasanti mewn i dŷ'r arch-offeiriad. A Phetr a ganlynodd o hirbell. Ac wedi iddynt gynneu tân y'nghanol y neuadd, a chyd-eistedd o honynt, eisteddodd Petr yntau yn eu plith hwynt. A phan ganfu rhyw langces ef yn eistedd wrth y tân, a dal sulw arno, hi a ddywedodd, Yr oedd hwn hefyd gydâg ef. Yntau a'i gwadodd ef, gan ddywedyd, O wraig, nid adwaen i ef. Ac ychydig wedi, un arall a'ï gwelodd ef, ac a ddywedodd, Yr wyt tithau hefyd yn un o honynt. A Phetr a ddywedodd, O ddyn, nid ydwyf. Ac ar ol megis yspaid un awr, rhyw un arall a daerodd, gan ddywedyd, Mewn gwirionedd yr oedd hwn hefyd gydag ef; canys Galilead yw. A Phetr a ddywedodd, Y dyn, nis gwn beth yr wyt yn ei ddywedyd. Ac yn y man, ac efe etto yn llefaru, canodd y ceiliog. A'r Arglwydd a drodd, ac a edrychodd ar Petr. A Phetr a gofiodd ymadrodd yr Arglwydd, fel y dywedasai efe wrtho, Cyn canu o'r ceiliog, y gwedi fi deir-gwaith. A Phetr a aeth allan, ac a wylodd yn chwerw-dost. A'r gwŷr oedd yn dal yr Iesu, a'i gwatwarasant ef, gan ei daro. Ac wedi iddynt guddio ei lygaid ef, hwy a'i tarawsant ef ar ei wyneb, ac a ofynnasant iddo, gan ddywedyd, Prophwyda, pwy yw yr hwn a'th darawodd di? A llawer o bethau eraill, gan gablu, a ddy

he touched his ear, and healed him. Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders who were come to him, Be ye come out as against a thief, with swords and staves? When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house: and Peter followed afar off. And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them. But a certain maid beheld him, as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him. And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not. And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not. And about the space of one hour after, another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him; for he is a Galilean. And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew. And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter; and Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And Peter went out, and wept bitterly. And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him. And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee? And many other things

wedasant yn ei erbyn ef. A phan aeth hi yn ddydd, ymgynullodd henuriaid y bobl, a'r arch-offeiriaid, a'r ysgrifenyddion, ac a'i dygasant ef i'w cynghor hwynt, gan ddywedyd, Ai ti yw Crist? dywaid i ni. Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Os dywedaf i chwi, ni chredwch ddim; ac os gofynaf hefyd i chwi, ni'm hattebwch, ac ni'm gollyngwch ymaith. Ar ol hyn y bydd Mab y dyn yn eistedd ar ddeheulaw gallu Duw. A hwy oll a ddywedasant, Ai Mab Ďuw gan hynny ydwyt ti? Ac efe a ddywedodd wrthynt, Yr ydych chwi yn dywedyd fy mod. Hwythau a ddywedasant, Pa raid i ni mwyach wrth dystiolaeth ? canys clywsom ein hunain o'i enau ef ei hun.

WRTH
RTH ddywedyd hyn, nid
ydwyf yn eich canmol;
eich bod yn dyfod y'nghŷd, nid

yn gyntaf, pan ddeloch y'nghýd
yn yr eglwys, yr ydwyf yn clywed
fod amrafaelion yn eich mysg
chwi; ac o ran yr wyf fi yn credu.
Canys rhaid yw bod hefyd here-

y rhai cymmeradwy yn eglur yn
eich plith chwi. Pan fyddoch
chwi gan hynny yn dyfod y'nghŷd
i'r un lle, nid bwytta swpper yr
Arglwydd ydyw hyn: canys y
mae pob un wrth fwytta yn cym-

ac un sydd â newŷn arno, ac arall
sydd yn feddw. Onid oes gen-

Duw, a gwaradwyddo y rhai
nid oes ganddynt? Pa beth a

i chwi yn hyn? Nid wyf yn eich

blasphemously spake they against him. And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people, and the chief priests, and the scribes, came together, and led him into their council, saying, Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe: and if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go. Hereafter shall the Son of Man sit on the right hand of the power of God. Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am. And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

you, I praise you not; that ye come together not for the better, but for the worse. For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you, and I partly believe it. For there must be also heresies among you, that they who are approved may be made manifest among you. When ye come together therefore into place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper: for in eating every one taketh before other his own supper; and one is hungry, and another is drunken. What, have ye not houses to eat and to drink in? or despise ye the Church of God, and shame them that have not? What shall I say to you? shall I praise you in this? I praise you not. For I have received of the Lord that which also I
