All thy works shall praise thee, O Jehovah ; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; to make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. Jehovah upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. Shewing that Christ died for sinners, for us who believe in him, for his sheep, &c. to fulfil ma ny great and important purposes, and especial ly to save and deliver us from our sins.

FOR when we were yet without strength, in due time, Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet, peradventure, for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love towards us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. a Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken,smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray.
