Total quayage space inside the harb. is about 1,300ft. The harb. is dry at LW., and has an average depth of 16ft at HWST. Good berthage from that depth to 1oft over a bottom of muddy sand. The lock connecting this with the Lancaster Canal is 100ft long by 26ft wide. There is a graving dock attached 197ft long (187ft on blocks), entrance 35ft wide.
