PSALM C.

O BE joyful in the Lòrd, | all ye | lands:

serve the Lord with gladness, and còme

before his presence | with a song.

:

Be ye sure that the Lòrd | he is God it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his | pas--ture.

O go your way into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with | praise be thankful unto him, and speak | good of his Name.

For the Lord is gracious, his mercy is ever-last--ing and his truth endureth from generàtion to gene- | -ra- | -tion.

Glory be to the Father, and to the | Son: and to the Holy Ghost;

As it was in the beginning, is now, and èver shall be world with- | -out | end. A- |-men.

WHOSOE

Quicunque bult.

WHOSOE'VER will be saved: before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholick Faith.

Which Faith except every one do keep whole, and unde--filed: without doubt he shall pèrish ever- |-lastingly.

And the Catholick Faith | is this: That we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in | Unity; Neither confounding the | Persons: nor dividing the Substance.

For there is one Person of the Father, anòther | of the Son and another of the Holy Ghost.

But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghòst, is all one: the Glory equal, the Majesty cò-e- | -ternal.

Such as the Father is, sùch | is the Son: and sùch is the Holy | Ghost.

The Father uncreate, the Sòn | uncreate: and the Holy Ghost uncre- | -ate.

The Father incomprehensible, the Son incòmpre- |-hensible: and the Holy Ghost incòmpre[-hensible.

The Father eternal, the Sòn e- | -ternal and the Holy Ghost e- | -ternal.

And yet they are not thrèe e- | -ternals: but òne e--ternal.

As also there are not three incomprehensibles, nor three ùncre- | -ated: but one uncreated, and one incòmpre- |-hensible.

So likewise the Father is Almighty, the Son Al- | -mighty: and the Holy Ghost Al- |-mighty. And yet there are not thrèe Al- | -mighties : but one Al- |-mighty.

So the Father is God, the Sòn | is God: and the Holy Ghost is | God.

And yet they are not three Gods but òne | God.

So likewise the Father is Lòrd, the | Son Lord and the Holy Ghòst | Lord.

And yet not three Lords: but one | Lord.

For like as we are compelled by the Christian | verity to acknowledge every Person by himself to be God and | Lord;

ST. LUKE i.

:

Y soul doth màgni- | -fy the | Lord and my spirit hath rejoiced in | God my Sa--viour.

For he hath re- | -gard- | -ed: the lowliness of his hand--maid- | -en.

For behold, from | hence- | -forth : all generàtions shall | call me | bless- |-ed.

For he that is mighty hath màgni- | -fied | me: and holy is his | Name.

And his mercy is on them that | fear | him : throughout all gene- | -ra-tions.

He hath showed strength with his arm: he hath scattered the proud, in the imagi- | -nation | of their | hearts.

He hath put down the mighty | from their seat and hath ex- | -alted the humble and meek.

He hath filled the hùngry | with good things: and the rìch he hath sent | empty a-1-way.

He remembering his mercy, hath holpen his sèrvant Isra- | -el : as he promised to our forefathers, Abraham, ànd his [seed for | e- | -ver.

Glory be to the Father, ànd | to the Son: and to the Holy Ghost;

PSALM Xcviii.

SING unto the Lòrd a new | song: fòr

O | he hath done | marvellous | things.

With his own right hand, and with his holy. | arm : hath he gotten him- | -self the | victo- | -ry. The Lord declared his sal- | -va--tion his righteousness hath he openly showed, in the sight of the hea- | -then.

He hath remembered his mercy and truth, toward the house of | Isra- | -el and all the ends of the world, have seen the sal- | -vation | of our God.

Shew yourselves joyful unto the Lòrd, all ye | lands: sìng, re- | -joice, and | give | thanks. Praise the Lòrd up- | -on the harp : sing to the harp with a psalm of | thanks- | -giv- | -ing. With trumpets also and | shawms: O shew yourselves joyful be- | -fore the Lord the | King.

Let the sea make a noise, and all that | therein | is the round wòrld, and they that dwell there--in.

Lord :

Let the floods clap their hands, and let the hills be joyful together be- |-fore the for he cometh to judge the | earth.

With righteousness shall he | judge the world: ànd the people with | equi- | -ty.

OD be merciful unto ùs, and | bless | us : 1 and shew us the light of his countenance, ànd be merciful | unto us:

That thy way may be known upon | earth : thy saving health a--mong all | na- | -tions.

Let the people pràise | thee, O God: yea let all the people | praise | thee.

O let the nations rejòice | and be | glad for thou shalt judge the folk righteously, and gòvern the nations up- |-on earth.
