MARK XI.

And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig-tree dried up from 21 the roots. And Peter, calling to remembrance, saith unto him; Master, behold, the fig-tree which thou cursedst is withered away. 22 And Jesus answering saith

And when the disciples 20 saw it, they marvelled, saying; How soon is the fig21 tree withered away! Jesus answered and said unto them; Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig-tree, but also, if ye shall say unto this mountain; Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be 22 done. And all things whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing ye shall receive.

For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain ; Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have 24 whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them; and ye shall 25 receive them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any; that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you 26 your trespasses. But, if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet. 27 And they answered Jesus, and said; We cannot tell. And he said unto them; Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. But what think ye? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said; Son, go work to29 day in my vineyard. He answered and said; I will not; but afterward he re30 pented and went. And he came to the other and said likewise. And he answered and said; I go, sir; and 31 went not. Whether of them twain did the will of his father? They say unto him; The first. Jesus saith unto them; Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. 32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and the harlots believed him; and

And they reasoned with themselves, saying; If we shall say; From heaven, he will say; Why then did ye not believe him? But if we shall say; Of men; they feared the people; for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. 33 And they answered and said
