PA RA P H R A SE. 20. We therefore beseech thee to bestow upon us, thy fervants, the gift of thy grace, pleading thy merits for us ; which, upon our earnest prayers, we truft thou wile not fail to do, fince thou didit spill thy preciGos blood, in order to procure our redemption.

21. Cause us to be reckoned among the number of the elect saints, who are to inherit eternal glory in the blessful regions of heaven. Rev. vii. 4.
