9 I will take no bullock out of thy house, Nor he goats out of thy folds.

10 For every beast of the forest is mine,

And the cattle upon a thousand hills. 11 I know all the fowls of the mountains,

And the wild beasts of the field are 'mine. 12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee;

For the world is mine, and the fulness thereof. 13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls,

Or drink the blood of goats?

14 Offer unto God thanksgiving,

And pay thy vows unto the Most High,
15 And call upon me in the day of trouble:
I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
But unto the wicked God saith,

16

What hast thou to do to declare my statutes,

Or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction,

And castest my words behind thee.

18 When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him,

And 'hast been "partaker with adulterers.

19 Thou 'givest thy mouth to evil,

And thy tongue frameth deceit.

20 Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother, Thou slanderest thine own mother's son.

21

These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; Thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself;

But I will reprove thee, and set them in order before

Let all the people praise thee!

6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; And God, even our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us,

Let Israel hope in the LORD;

For with the LORD there is mercy,

And with him is plenteous redemption.

TA Psalm of David.

LORD, do I lift up my soul!
trust in thee;

Let me not be ashamed,

Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed;

Let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. 4 Show me thy ways, O LORD;

Teach me thy paths.

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me;

For thou art the God of my salvation;

On thee do I wait all the day.

6 Remember, O LORD, 'thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses;

For they have been ever of old.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions:

According to thy mercy remember thou me
For thy goodness' sake, O LORD!

Good and upright is the LORD,

Therefore will he teach sinners in the way. 9 The meek will he guide in judgment,

And the meek will he teach his way.
