HEAVEN, signifying God.

GEN. xxi. 17. The angel, or meffenger, of God called to Hagar out of heaven, (that is, from God,) and faid, God hath heard the voice of the lad, &c. See on 2 Chron. xxxii. 20; Matt. iii. 17.
