verily is my strength and my salvation. He is my defence, so that I shall not greatly fall. God is my health and my glory, the rock of my might, and in God is my trust.

O put your trust in him alway, pour out your hearts before him, for God is our hope. O trust not in wrong and robbery; give not your hearts unto vanity if riches increase set not your heart upon them. God hath spoken once, twice I have heard the same, that power belongeth unto him, and that he is merciful and rewardeth every man according to his works.

O God, thou art my God, early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee. My flesh longeth for thee, to see thy power and thy glory. For thy loving

kindness is better than life itself. My lips shall praise thee as long as I live: I will magnify thy name and lift up my hands unto thee. Because thou hast been my helper, therefore under the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer; preserve my life from the fear of the enemy. Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrections of the workers of iniquity.

My misdeeds prevail against me: O be merciful unto my sins. Blessed is the man whom thou choosest and receivest unto thyself. He shall dwell in thy court and shalt be satisfied with the pleasures of thy house. Thou art the hope of all to the ends of the earth, and of those that remain upon the broad sea. For thou stillest the raging of the sea and the noise of its

SUPPLICATION.

Bow down thine ear, O Lord, and hear me, for I am poor and in misery. Preserve thou my soul. My God save thy servant that trusteth in thee. Be merciful unto me, O Lord, for I cry unto thee daily; comfort the soul of thy servant, for unto thee do I lift up my soul: for thou, Lord, art ready to forgive, and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

Give ear, Lord, unto my prayer; ponder the voice of my humble desires. In the day of my trouble I will

O Lord, God of my salvation. I have
