PRAYER.

Unto Thee will I cry, O Lord, my strength; have mercy upon me, O God according to thy loving kindness. In thy tender mercy blot out my transgressions and cleanse me from all my sins. I acknowledge my faults, I have done evil in thy sight. My iniquities are a sore burden too heavy for me to bear. Lord thou knowest all my desire, and my trouble is not hid from thee. The sacrifice of God is a troubled spirit, a broken and contrite heart O God, thou wilt not despise. Put me not to rebuke, O Lord, in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy heavy displeasure.
