§ 2. Section thirteen of chapter fifty-five of the laws of nineteen hundred and nine, being section thirteen of the second class cities law, is hereby superseded in its application to the city of Binghamton.

3. This local law shall take effect immediately.

LOCAL LAW No. 3

A local law in relation to the salary of the president of the common council and of the aldermen in the city of Binghamton, New York

Became a law October 24, 1927, without the approval of the Mayor. Passed by the local legislative body of the city of Binghamton.

Be it enacted by the common council of the city of Binghamton as follows:

Section 1. Salaries. The annual salary of the president of the common council shall be fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500) and of each of the aldermen, one thousand dollars ($1,000).

§ 2. Section sixteen of chapter fifty-five of the laws of nineteen hundred and nine, being section sixteen of the second class cities law, as amended, is hereby superseded in its application to the city of Binghamton in so far as the same conflicts with this local law.

§ 3. This local law shall take effect immediately.

LOCAL LAW No. 1

A local law of the city of Buffalo in relation to the boundaries of wards in said city and amending and superseding section three of chapter two hundred and seventeen of the laws of nineteen hundred and fourteen, entitled "An act to provide a charter for the city of Buffalo."

Became a law February 16, 1927, with the approval of the Council. Passe.” by the local legislative body of the city of Buffalo.

Be it enacted by the council of the city of Buffalo as follows:

Section 1. Section three of chapter two hundred and seventeen of the laws of nineteen hundred and fourteen, entitled "An act to provide a charter for the city of Buffalo," is hereby amended and superseded so as to read as follows:

§ 3. The city shall be divided into twenty-seven wards bounded respectively as follows:

The first ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Elk street and Louisiana street; running thence along the center line of Elk street to the center line of Smith street; thence along the center line of Smith street to the center line of the Lehigh Valley railroad tracks; thence along the center line of the Lehigh Valley railroad tracks to the center line of Seneca street; thence along the center line of Seneca street to the center line of Bailey avenue; thence along the center line of Bailey avenue to the center line of Cazenovia creek; thence along the center line of Cazenovia creek to the center line of South Park avenue; thence along the center line of South Park avenue to the city line; thence along the city line to Lake Erie; thence through the waters of Lake Erie to the line of the Erie railroad tracks extended; thence along the line of the Erie railroad tracks extended and the center line of the Erie railroad tracks to the center line of Louisiana street; thence along the center line of Louisiana street to the place of beginning.

The second ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Abbott road and South Park avenue, running thence along the center line of Abbott road to the center line of Potters road; thence along the center line of Potters road to the city line; thence along the city line to the center line of South Park avenue; thence along the center line of South Park avenue to the place of beginning.

The third ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of the Pennsylvania railroad tracks and Bailey avenue; running thence along the center line of the Pennsylvania railroad tracks to the center line of Buffalo river; thence along

the center line of Buffalo river to the city line; thence along the city line to the center line of Potters road; thence along the center line of Potters road to the center line of Abbott road; thence along the center line of Abbott road to the center line of South Park avenue; thence along the center line of South Park avenue to the center line of Cazenovia creek; thence along the center line of Cazenovia creek to the center line of Bailey avenue; thence along the center line of Bailey avenue to the center line of Seneca street; thence along the center line of Seneca street to the center line of Bailey avenue; thence along the center line of Bailey avenue to the place of beginning.

The fourth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Eagle street and Main street; running thence along the center line of Eagle street to the center line of Smith street; thence along the center line of Smith street to the center line of Elk street; thence along the center line of Elk street to the center line of Louisiana street; thence along the center line of Louisiana street to the center line of the Erie railroad tracks; thence along the center line of the Erie railroad tracks and the line of the Erie railroad tracks extended to Lake Erie; thence through the waters of Lake Erie to the center line of Buffalo river; thence along the center line of Buffalo river to the center line of Main street; thence along the center line of Main street to the center line of New York Central railroad tracks; thence along the center line of the New York Central railroad tracks to the center line of Washington street; thence along the center line of Washington street to the center line of Exchange street; thence along the center line of Exchange street to the center line of Main street; thence along the center line of Main street to the place of

The fifth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Broadway and Main street; running thence along the center line of Broadway to the center line of Smith street; thence along the center line of Smith street to the center line of Eagle street; thence along the center line of Eagle street to the center line of Main street; thence along the center line of Main street to the place of beginning.

The sixth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Broadway and Smith street, running thence along the center line of Broadway to the center line of Milburn street; thence along the center line of Milburn street and Milburn street extended to the center line of William street; thence along the center line of William street to the center line of Babcock street; thence along the center line of Babcock street to the center line of the Lehigh Valley railroad tracks; thence along the center line of the Lehigh Valley railroad tracks to the center line of Smith street; thence along the center line of Smith street to the place of beginning.

The seventh ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Broadway and Milburn street; running thence along the center line of Broadway to the city line; thence along the city line to the center line of Buffalo river; thence along the center line of Buffalo river to the center line of the Pennsylvania railroad tracks; thence along the center line of the Pennsylvania railroad tracks to the center line of Bailey avenue; thence along the center line of Bailey avenue to the center line of Seneca street; thence along the center line of Seneca street to the center line of the Lehigh Valley railroad tracks; thence along the center line of the Lehigh Valley railroad tracks to the center line of Babcock street; thence along the center line of Babcock street to the center line of William street; thence along the center line of William street to the center line of Milburn street extended and Milburn street to the place of beginning.

The ninth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Best street and Herman street; running thence along the center line of Best street to the center line of Walden avenue; thence along the center line of Walden avenue to the center line of the New York Central belt line tracks; thence along the center line of the New York Central belt line tracks to the center line of Broadway; thence along the center line of Broadway to the center line of Sherman street; thence along the center line of Sherman street to the center line of Genesee street; thence along the center line of Genesee street to the center line of Fox street; thence along the center line of Fox street to the center line of High street; thence along the center line of High street to the center line of Herman street; thence along the center line of Herman street to the place of beginning.

The tenth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Genesee street and the New York Central belt line tracks; running thence along the center line of Genesee street to the center line of Doat street; thence along the center line of Doat street to the city line; thence along the city line to the center line of Broadway; thence along the center line of Broadway to the New York Central belt line tracks; thence along the center line of the New York Central belt line tracks to the place of beginning.

The eleventh ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of Best street and Main street; running thence along the center line of Best street to the center line of Herman street; thence along the center line of Herman street to the center line of High street; thence along the center line of High street to the center line of Fox street; thence along the center line of Fox street to the center line of Genesee street; thence along the center line of Genesee street to the center line of Jefferson avenue; thence along the center line of Jefferson avenue to the center line of Virginia street; thence along the center line of Virginia street to the center line of Main street; thence along the center line of Main street to the place of beginning.

The twelfth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of East Delavan avenue and Main street; running thence along the center line of East Delavan avenue to the center line of Jefferson avenue; thence along the center line of Jefferson avenue to the center line of Best street; thence along the center line of Best street to the center line of Main street; thence along the center line of Main street to the place of beginning.

The thirteenth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of East Delavan avenue and Jefferson avenue; running thence along the center line of East Delavan avenue to the center line of Humboldt parkway; thence along the center line of Humboldt parkway to the center line of Best street; thence along the center line of Best street to the center line of Jefferson avenue; thence along the center line of Jefferson avenue to the place of beginning.

The fourteenth ward shall consist of that part of the city of Buffalo, within and bounded by a line, beginning at the intersection of the center line of East Delavan avenue and Humboldt parkway; running thence along the center line of East Delavan avenue to the center line of Moselle street; thence along the center line of Moselle street to the center line of Genesee street; thence along the center line of Genesee street to the center line of the New York Central belt line tracks; thence along the center line of the New York Central belt line tracks to the center line of Walden avenue; thence along the center line of Walden avenue to the center line of Best street; thence along the center line of Best street to the center line of Humboldt parkway; thence along the center line of Humboldt parkway to the place of beginning.
