Total....... $224, 178. 57 54, 555. 61 278, 734. 18 The buildings and portions of buildings mentioned below are used by the Treasury Department for the purposes indicated: No. 200 Fourteenth Street NW.: Used hy the Office of the Auditor for the Post Office Department for the storage of money-order files, etc. No. 407 Fifteenth Street NW.: Used by the office of the chief clerk and superintendent for a carpenter, repair, and paint shop. Armory under Chase's old theater (now known as Poli's Theater): Used by Treasury Department bureaus generally. At present contains files of Office of Auditor for the State and Other Departments; stock of stationery supplies; supplies belonging to Office of the Supervising Architect; and secondhand furniture, etc., for reissue by superintendent of building. (Files above noted were moved to the Auditors' Building about September 1, 1914.) Nos. 1412, 1414, 1416, and 1418 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.: First floor only (rest of building used by the Grand Army of the Republic and other tenants). This ground floor is occupied by the purveying depot of the United States Public Health Service, which was moved the 1st of July, 1912, to this site from the Union Building in order to save rent, the space on the Avenue being then vacant and not producing revenue. No. 1420 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.: First floor only (rest of building rented to tenants). Used for storage of files by the Office of the Auditor of the Treasury for the War Department. No. 1422 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.: First floor only (upper floors are part of Grand Hotel). Used by the Office of the Supervising Architect for storage of carpet stock for public buildings until October 31, 1914. No. 1424 E Street NW.: rented to private parties. the rest of the building. the storage of stationery. Lot adjoining No. 1505 Pennsylvania Avenue NW., known as the site of the Old Freedman's Bank: Rents collected from June 6 to September 5, 1911, previously reported, $60. Not rented from September 6, 1911, to December 31, 1914. There are no buildings on the above-mentioned lot. The receipts have been covered into the Treasury of the United States, in accordance with the provisions of sections 3618 and 3619 of the Revised Statutes, and a detailed account thereof rendered to the Auditor for the Treasury Department, which official is charged with the duty of auditing the same.
