God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God which fed me all my life long unto this day, the angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth. Gen. xlviii. 15.

SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS.

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: the Lord make his face to shine upon thee: the Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.-Numb. vi. 24-26.

The Lord be between thee and me for ever.1 Sam. xx. 23.

Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be to all that thou hast. Blessed be ye of the Lord, that ye have shewed this kindness and now the Lord show kindness and truth unto you.—2 Sam. ii. 5.

The Lord thy God accept thee.-2 Sam. xxiv. 23.

Peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thine helpers, for thy God helpeth thee.-1 Chron. xii. 18.

The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee. Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion. Remember all thy offerings, and accept

The God of thy father shall help thee, and the Almighty shall bless thee with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lieth under, blessings of the breasts, and of the womb. - Gen. xlix. 25.

Let be blessed with children: let him be acceptable to his brethren, and let him dip his foot in oil.-Deut. xxxiii. 24.

The Lord deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.—Ruth i. 8.

The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.Ruth ii. 12.

FOR AN ABSENT FRIEND.

Let the blessing come upon the head of and upon the top of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

FOR A DEPARTING FRIEND.

Go in peace, and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him.— 1 Sam. i. 17.

Go in peace, forasmuch as we have sworn both of us in the name of the Lord, saying, The Lord be between me and thee, and between my seed and thy sced for ever.-1 Sam. xx. 42.
