If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on, so that I come again

Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom? Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts?-Ps. cviii. 10.

O that I might have my request: and that God would grant me the thing that I long for! Even that it would please God to destroy me; that he would let loose his hand and cut me off. What is mine end, that I should prolong my life?—Job vi. 8, &c.
