When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek. Hide not thy face far from me ; put not thy servant away in anger; thou hast been my help, leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.-Ps. xxvii. 8, 9.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; save me for thy mercies' sake.-Ps. xxxi. 16.

Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in mine integrity; I have trusted also in the Lord, therefore I shall not slide. Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and
heart. For thy loving-kindness is before mine eyes, and I have walked in thy truth.—Ps. xxvi. 1.
Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.-Ps. xxvii. 11.
Teach me thy way, O Lord, I will walk in thy truth; unite my heart to fear thy name.-Ps. lxxxvi. 11.
Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people. O visit me with thy salvation, that I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. –Ps. coi. 4.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes ; then shall I not be ashamed when I have respect unto all thy commandments ;
