1. How manifold are thy works, | O Jehovah:

In wisdom | hast thou made them all :

2. The earth is full of thy riches:

So is this great and wide sea:

3. Wherein are creeping | things without number, Both small and great beasts.

4. There go the ships, and that leviathan,

Which thou hast made to play therein.

5. These wait all upon thee;

That thou mayest give their meat in its season.

6. Thou givest | them, they gather:

Thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

7. Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled;

Thou takest away their breath, they | die, and return to

their dust.

8. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: And thou re newest the face of the ground.

1. Great is JEHOVAH, and greatly to be praised,
In the city of our GoD, the mountain of his holiness

2. Beautiful for situation,

The joy of all the earth is mount Zion.

3. We have thought of thy | kindness, O GOD,

In the midst of thy temple.

4. As thy name, O GOD,

So is thy praise to the ends of the earth.

5. Let mount Zion rejoice,

Let the daughters of Judah be | glad, because of thy judg

ments.

6. Walk about Zion, and go | round about her:

Tell ye the towers thereof.

7. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her palaces;
That ye may tell it to the generation following.
8. For this GOD is our God for ever and ever:
He will be our guide unto death.

6. They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness:
And the little hills rejoice on every side.

7. The pastures are | clothed with flocks;

The valleys also are covered over with corn; 8. They shout for joy,

Yea, they do also sing.

1. How beautiful upon the mountains

Are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings,

2. That proclaimeth peace;

That bringeth good tidings of good;

3. That doth publish salvation;

That saith to Zion, Thy GoD reigneth! 4. Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice: With the voice together shall they sing. 5. For they shall see eye to eye,

When JEHOVAH shall bring again Zion. 6. Break | forth into joy:

Sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem.
7. For JEHOVAH hath comforted his people;
He hath redeemed Jerusalem.

8. JEHOVAH hath made bare his | holy arm,
In the eyes of all the nations.
9. And all the ends of the earth
Shall see the salvation of our GOD.

Who hast set thy | glory above the heavens.

2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength be cause of thine enemies,

To put to silence the enemy and the avenger.

3. When I behold thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the | stars which thou hast ordained;

4. What is man, that thou art | mindful of him?

And the son of | man, that thou visitest him?

5. For thou madest him a little lower | than the angels, And hast crowned | him with glory and honor. 6. Thou hast made him to rule over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put | all things under his feet:

7. Flocks and oxen | all of them,

And also the beasts of the field:

8. Birds of the heavens, and fishes | of the sea,

And whatever passeth | through the paths of the seas.

9. O JEHOVAH our Lord,

4How excellent is thy | name in all the earth!

SELECTION 67.

1. O bless our | GoD, ye people,

[Ps. lxvi. 8 |

And make the voice of his praise to be heard ·

2. Who holdeth our | soul in life,

And suffereth | not our feet to be moved.

3. I will go into thy | house with burnt-offerings: I will pay to thee my vows,

4. Which my lips have uttered,

And my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble. 5. Come and hear, all ye that fear GOD, 4And I will declare what he hath done for

6. I cried unto him with my mouth,

And he was extolled with my tongue.

7. If I regard iniquity | in my heart, JEHOVAH will not hear:

8. But verily | God hath heard;

my soul.

He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.

9. Blessed be GOD, who hath not turned a way my prayer, Nor yet his mercy from me.

SELECTION 68.

1. It is good to give thanks to JEHOVAH,

[Ps. xcii.]

And to sing praises unto thy | name, Ở thou Most High : 2. To show forth thy kindness | in the morning,

And thy | faithfulness in the nights,

3. Upon an instrument of ten strings, and up on the psaltery; With melody on the harp.

5. The righteous shall flourish | like the palm-tree :
He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

6. Those that be planted in the house of JEHOVAH
Shall flourish in the courts of our God.
7. They shall still bring forth | fruit in old age;
They shall be fat and flourishing;

8. To show that JEHOVAH | is upright;

My rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
