Thy years are to generation of generations.

4. Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth;

And the heavens | are the work of thy hands.

6. As a vesture | shalt thou change them,

And they shall be changed:

7. But thou art the same,

And thy years shall have no end.

8. The children of thy servants | shall continue,

And their seed shall be established before thy face.

1. I have done | judgment and justice: Leave me not to mine oppressors. 2. Be surety for thy | servant for good; Let not the proud oppress me.

3. Mine eyes fail for thy salvation,

And for the word of thy righteousness.

4. Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, And teach thou me thy statutes.

5. I am thy servant; give me understanding, That I may know thy testimonies.

6. It is time for JEHOVAH to work;

For they have made void thy law.

7. Therefore I love thy commandments | more than gold; And more than fine gold.

8. Therefore all thy precepts concerning all things do I esteem right;

And

every false way do I hate.

1. I cried with all the heart; hear me, | O JEHOVAH : Thy statutes will I keep.

2. I cried unto thee: O save me, And I will keep thy testimonies. 3. I preceded the dawn, and cried; I ho-ped in thy word.

4. Mine eyes anticipate the watches,
That I might meditate in thy word.

5. Hear my voice according to thy kindness:
O JEHOVAH, revive me according to thy judgment.
6. They draw near that | follow mischief:

They are far from thy law.

7. Thou art near, | O JEHOVAH,

And all thy commandments are truth.

8. Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old, That thou hast founded them forever.

1. Princes have persecuted me without a cause; But my heart doth tremble at thy word.

2. I rejoice at thy word,

As one that findeth great spoil.

3. Falsehood do I hate and abhor :

But I do love thy law.

4. Seven times a day do I praise thee, Because of the judgments of thy justice.

5. Great peace have they who love thy law; And no stumbling-block have they.

6. O JEHOVAH, I have hoped for thy salvation, And thy commandments have I done.

7. My soul hath kept thy testimonies.; And exceedingly do I love them.

8. I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies : For all my ways are before thee.

1. Thy word is a | lamp to my feet, And a light unto my path.

2. I have sworn, and I will perform,

That I will keep the | judgments of thy justice.

3. I am afflicted | very much :

Revive me, O JEHOVAH, according to thy word.

4. Accept, I beseech thee, the free-will-offerings of my mouth,

O JEHOVAH,

And teach thou me thy judgments.

5. My soul is continually in my hand : Yet do I not forget thy law.

6. The wicked have laid a | snare for me;

Yet I have not | wandered from thy precepts. 7. I have inherited thy testimonies | forever; For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

8. I have inclined my heart

To perform thy statutes | always, to the end.

For thou hast taught me.

7. How sweet are thy words to my taste! Sweeter than honey to my mouth!

8. Through thy precepts I get | understanding; Therefore every false way do I hate.

[Ps. cxix. 113.]

1. I hate doubting thoughts;

But I do love thy law.

2. Thou art my hiding-place | and my shield:

I hope in thy word."

3. Depart from me, ye | evil-doers;

For I will keep the commandments of my God. 4. Uphold me according to thy word, that | I may live; And let me not | be ashamed of my hope.

5. Hold thou me up, and I | shall be safe;

And I will have respect to thy statutes always.

6. Thou treadest down all that | stray from thy statutes; For vain is their deceit.

7. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the | earth as dross;

Therefore do I love thy testimonies.

8. My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And of thy | judgments I am afraid.
