than mine enemies ; For | they are ever with me. 3. I have more understanding than | all my teachers;

For thy testimonies / are my meditation.

SELECTION 113. [Ps. cxix. 113.) 1. I hate doubting thoughts;

But I do love thy law. 2. Thou art my hiding-place and my shield :

I hope in thy word. 3. Depart from me, ye | evil-doers;

For I will keep the commandments of my God. 4. Uphold me according to thy word, that | I may live;

And let me not be ashamed of my hope. 5. Hold thou me up, and I | shall be safe;

And I will have respect to thy statutes always. 6. Thou treadest down all that stray from thy statutes ;

For | vain is their deceit. 7. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth as dross ;

Therefore do I love thy testimonies. 8. My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And of thy | judgments I am afraid.
