Falsehood do I hate and abhor : But I do love thy law. 4. Seven times a day do I praise thee, Because of the judgments of thy justice. 5. Great peace have they who I love thy law ; And no stumbling-block have they. 6. O JEHOVAH, I have hoped for thy salvation, And thy commandments have I done. 7. I hate doubting thoughts; But I do love thy law. 2. Thou art my hiding-place and my shield : I hope in thy word. 3. Depart from me, ye | evil-doers; For I will keep the commandments of my God. 4. Uphold me according to thy word, that | I may live; And let me not be ashamed of my hope. 5. Hold thou me up, and I | shall be safe; And I will have respect to thy statutes always. 6. Thou treadest down all that stray from thy statutes ; For | vain is their deceit. 7. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth as dross ; Therefore do I love thy testimonies. 8. My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; And of thy | judgments I am afraid. |
