1. Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob | for his help, Whose hope is | in JEHOVAH his God;

2. Who made | heaven and earth,

The sea, and all that is therein;

3. Who keepeth | truth forever;

Who executeth | judgment for the oppressed;

4. Who giveth | food to the hungry.

JEHOVAH looseth the prisoners:

5. JEHOVAH Openeth the eyes of the blind :

JEHOVAH raiseth | them that are bow-ed down :

6. JEHOVAH loveth the righteous:

JEHOVAH doth preserve the strangers:

7. He relieveth the fatherless and the widow :

1. For it is good to sing praises | to our GOD;

For it is pleasant; and praise is comely.

2. JEHOVAH doth build | up Jerusalem:

He gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.

3. He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.

4. He telleth the number of the stars;

He calleth them all by their names.

5. Great is our Lord, and great his His understanding is infinite.

6. JEHOVAH lifteth | up the meek:

8. For it is good to sing praises | to our GOD; For it is pleasant, and praise is comely.

1. Praise JEHOVAH, O Jerusalem; Praise thou thy GOD, O Zion.

2. For he hath strengthened the | bars of thy gates;

He hath blessed thy children within thee.

3. He maketh thy | borders peace,

He filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. 4. He sendeth forth his commandment to earth: His word | runneth very swiftly.

5. He giveth snow like wool:

He scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.

6. He casteth forth his ice like morsels:

Who can stand before his cold?

7. He sendeth his word, and melteth them:

4He causeth the wind to | blow, and the waters flow.

8. He declareth his | word to Jacob,

His statutes and his | judgments unto Israel.

9. He hath not dealt so with any nation :

And as for his judgments, they have not known them.

1. Thy hands have made me and formed me: [ments. Make me to understand that | I may learn thy command

2. They that fear thee will be glad when they see me;

3. I know, O JEHOVAH, that thy | judgments are right,
And that thou in | faithfulness hast afflicted me.
4 Let, I pray thee, thy kindness | be for my comfort,
According to thy word to thy servant.

5. Let thy mercies come to me, that | I may live :
For thy | law is my delight.

6. Let the proud be ashamed; for they vex me with out a cause: But I will meditate in thy precepts.

7. Let those that fear thee | turn to me, And those that know thy testimonies. 8. Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; That I may not be ashamed.

1. Righteous art thou, | O JEHOVAH,

And thy judgments are upright.

2. Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded

Are righteous and very true.

3. My zeal hath consumed me,

Because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.

4. Thy word is very pure:

Therefore doth thy servant love it.

I do not forget thy precepts.

6. Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is the truth.

7. Trouble and anguish have taken | hold of me :

Yet thy commandments are my delights.

1. Give ear to my words, | O JEHOVAH,

Consider my complaint.

2. Hearken to the voice of my cry, my | King and my God; For to thee will I

pray.

3. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, | O JEHovah; In the morning will I ad dress thee, and look up.

4. For thou art not a GOD that hath | pleasure in wickedness; Neither shall evil dwell with thee.

5. The profane shall not | stand in thy sight:

Thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

6. Thou shalt destroy | them that speak falsehood:

JEHOVAH will abhor the man of blood and deceit.

7. But as for me, I will come into thy house in the greatness of thy mercy:

In thy fear will I worship | toward thy holy temple.

8. Lead me, O JEHOVAH, in thy righteousness, because of mine enemies;

Make thy way straight before my face.

3. Thou hast taken away | all thy wrath:

Thou hast turned away from the heat of thine anger. 4. Restore us, O God of our salvation,

And turn a way thine anger from us.

5. Wilt thou be angry with us forever?

1. JEHOVAH Upholdeth | all that fall,

2. The eyes of all wait on thee;

And thou givest | them their meat in its season.

3. Thou dost open thine hand,

And satisfy the desire of | every living thing.

4. JEHOVAH is righteous in all his ways,

And merciful in all his works.
