SELECTION 144. [Ps. lxxxv. 8.] 1. I will hear what JEHOVAH | God will speak :

For he will speak peace to his people, 2. And to his saints :

But let them not turn again to folly. 3. Surely his salvation is near them that fear him;

That | glory may dwell in our land. 4. Mercy and truth are met together;

Righteousness and ! peace have kissed each other. 5. Truth shall spring out of the earth;

And righteousness shall look down from the heavens. 6. Yea, Jehovah | shall give good';

SELECTION 145. [Ps. cxlv. 9.] 1. Jehovah is good to all :

And his mercies are over all his works. 2. Jehovah is near to all that I call upon him :

To all that call upon him in truth. 3. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him:

He also will | hear their cry, and save them. 4. Jehovan preserveth | all that love him :

Who walketh up on the wings of the wind; 5. Who maketh the winds his angels,

SELECTION 150. [Ps. civ. 5.] 1. He hath laid the foundations of the earth,

That it shall not | be removed forever. 2. Thou coveredst it with the deep as a garment :

The waters | stood above the mountains. 3. At thy rebuke they fled;

At the voice of thy | thunder they hasted away. 4. They went up the mountains; they went down the valleys;

To the place which I thou hast founded for them. 5. Thou hast set a bound which they | may not pass ;

That they may not return to cover the earth. 6. Bless thou JEHOVAH, | O my soul.

SELECTION 151. [Ps. civ. 10.] 1. He sendeth forth springs into brooks,

They | run among the hills. 2. They give drink to every | beast of the field:

The wild | asses quench their thirst. 3. Near them shall the fowls of the heavens dwell;

They shall | sing among the branches. 4. He watereth the mountains from his chambers .

The earth is filled with the fruit of thy works. 5. Bless thou JEHOVAH, O my

SELECTION 153. [Ps. civ. 19.] 1. He made the moon for appointed seasons :

The sun | knoweth his going down. 2. Thou makest darkness, and it is night;

Wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth. 3. The young lions | roar for prey,

And seek their food from God. 4. The sun riseth, they with draw themselves,

And | lay them down in their dens. 5. Man goeth forth to his work,

And to his | labor until evening. 6. Bless thou JEHOVAH, O my soul.

SELECTION 154. [Ps. cxlvii. 7.] 1. Sing to Jehovah | with thanksgiving ;

Sing praise to our | God upon the harp; 2. Who covereth the heaven with clouds, 1 Who prepareth | rain for the earth,

Who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. 3. He giveth to the beast its food,

To the young of the ravens which cry. 4. He delighteth not in the strength of the horse :

He taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. 5. JEHOVAH taketh pleasure in them that fear him,

In | those that hope in his mercy. 6. Praise Jehovah, | O Jerusalem : Praise | thou thy God, o Zion.
